Formal Writing
1. Draft 1 Do not think of your First Draft as a Rough Draft. Think of your First Draft as something you’d be comfortable turning in to me for a grade. Your draft can be completed on your home computer, but it must be saved via Google Documents, which you can access through your USF Email.
How to post your first draft
Save your draft in Google Docs. Choose “Share” and then “Publish as a Web Page.” Then submit the permalink to your draft here.

1. Podcast Assignment 2 — Reflections on the opening sections of “From Pencils to Pixels.”
In a 2-3 minute podcast, consider your own feelings about the writing technologies you rely on. With which technologies do you feel most creative? Most productive? Most human? Do you draw any distinctions between simple technologies, like pens and pencils, and modern writing technologies, like laptops and cell phones?
This is a reflection piece, so feel free to ignore my prompts above if you are compelled to discuss something else that struck you as interesting in Baron’s article.
Note: Like your last podcast, this one should also include music and/or sound effects to supplement your written narrative. Tag your submission “podcast 2.”
