First Monday.

They say that when you teach, you wind up learning quite a bit as you go. I had not heard of the journal First Monday until I read your abstracts/research plans for Project 1. Several of you utilized it to meet the requirement for two sources that had to be “indisputably academic.”

First Monday is one of the first openly accessible, peer–reviewed journals on the Internet, solely devoted to the Internet. Since its start in May 1996, First Monday has published 1,013 papers in 160 issues; these papers were written by 1,285 different authors.
