1. Submit your Final Draft for Project 1 by Monday night. Please review submission guidelines from last week’s announcement here.

2. Research Plan/Abstract for Project 2
Your research plan should include MLA-style citations of the two indisputably academic sources you plan on drawing from to write your paper. Your abstract should be no more than 150 words, and it should summarize your argument. Tag this post “englsh abstract 2”.
Due Friday.

(Note: Please consult The OWL at Purdue for assistance with formatting in MLA Style.)

Informal Writing

  1. “Rabbit” is a thought-provoking animation by illustrator and cartoonist Run Wrake. What argument is the creator of the film trying to make? Is it clear? Is it successful? How is it rhetorical? You can watch it here. Your response should be a blog post in the format of your choosing — text, video, podcast, etc. Tag this post “englsh rabbit”.
    Due Wednesday

Notes
I will begin grading your papers this week. To be fair, I send all the papers back to my students at the same time. It generally takes me about two weeks to get through them all. Please be patient.
